ABOUT Chiltern (Early Phase) Ltd. (CEP)

Chiltern (Early Phase) Ltd. (CEP), is one of the oldest UK-based clinical pharmacology units specializing in Phase I clinical trials, especially in First-In-Man and Phototoxicity studies.

Since its establishment in 1982, CEP has performed over 700 studies, covering a wide range of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies in all the major therapeutic areas and routes of administration.

We are located in Dundee, Scotland where we occupy a purpose built, 42-bed research unit in Ninewells Hospital, one of the largest hospital complexes in Europe. This location provides access to a large patient population for Phase IIa efficacy studies (e.g. renal and hepatic impairment patients). The unit adheres to the highest standards of quality and undergoes routine voluntary GCP inspections by the MHRA.

CEP benefits from a wide range of Chiltern's in-house support services, such as data management & stats, medical writing, clinical monitoring, quality management, pharmacovigilance, regulatory support, etc.

We can tailor our work to your requirements and have significant experience in supplying data to the regulatory authorities in Japan, USA and EU.
